1. What oil is contained in cans with R134a refrigerant replacement?
ClimaSet products contain a mixture of synthetic oils designed for cooling systems, whose task is to properly lubricate and protect the moving parts of the air conditioning system. Their presence ensures proper operation, perfectly complementing the composition of the refrigerant in the car's air conditioning system. For more details, please refer to our product description:

2. What type of gas is in the cans?
ClimaSet products are based on natural hydrocarbon gas. It is an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional refrigerants, completely safe for the environment, your car and the user. Natural hydrocarbon gas is neutral and lighter than the original refrigerant, which translates into a longer service life for air conditioning system components.
3. Which coolant replacement should you choose for your car?
When choosing a refrigerant, it is worth considering the date of manufacture of your car. Cars manufactured before 2016 use R12/R134a refrigerant in their cooling systems. Models manufactured from 2017 onwards will use R1234yf refrigerant, regardless of the make or model.
If you are still unsure, you can check this on the information plate located in every car under the bonnet or near the air conditioning components.
4. Will I need a specific adapter to refill the air conditioning?
An adapter may be needed in certain cases:
• when using R12 refrigerant, a Retrofit R12 adapter will always be needed to refill the air conditioning system
• when using R1234yf refrigerant, you will always need an R1234yf (YF) adapter to refill the air conditioning system
• in the case of R134a refrigerant, in most cases, only a hose with a pressure gauge is needed to fill the air conditioning system, and charging is done through the LP port. Unfortunately, in some cars, manufacturers have not included an LP port - in this case, the air conditioning is charged through the HP port using an HP/LP adapter.
Examples of cars where an HP/LP adapter will be needed:
• Audi A4 B4 1994
• Ford Fiesta 2007
• Ford Galaxy 2009
• Ford Transit 2009
• Kia Ceed 2007
• Nissan Qashqai 2015 and 2016
• Mazda 2015
• Mitsubishi Colt 2006
• Renault Laguna 2
• Renault Mégane 2
• Renault Trafic 2
